Garbage Bread
Provided by Jill Hammons (1994)
1 tube Pillsbury All-Ready Pizza Crust
Use any or all of the following:
Shredded cheddar cheese
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Thinly sliced peperoni
Chopped ham
Cooked bulk sausage
Drained spinach
Drained broccoli bits
1 egg
Roll or spread dough to 7'x14" rectangle. Mix ingredients of your choice with the egg. Spread filling over dough, leaving 1" at the ends. Roll up jelly roll fashion, seal edges. Cut slits in the top, and place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes. Slice and serve hot or cold. May be reheated.

English Muffin Bread

2 packages yeast
5 or 6 cups unsifted flour
1 Tbs sugar
2 tsp salt
2 cups milk
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup water
Cornmeal
Microwave directions:
Combine 3 cups flour, yeast, sugar, salt, and soda. Heat liquids until very warm. Add to dry mixture. Beat well. Stir in 2 cups flour to make a stiff batter. Spoon into 2 glass bread pans that have been greased and sprinkled with cornmeal. Cover. Let rise 45 minutes, and then microwave at high power for 6 minutes to 6 minutes and 30 seconds. Allow to rest 5 minutes before removing from pans. Toast before serving.
Regular oven:
Bake at 400 degrees for 25 minutes
Bread Pudding
Provided by Jessie Groff (2002)
6 cups of bread cubes (2 or 3 days old)
6 eggs
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp salt
7 cups milk
Beat eggs, and milk, and mix. Add sugar and other ingredients, pour over bread cubes, and sprinkle with cinnamon. Optionally, add raisins
Set casserole in a pan of water 1" deep. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour.

Monkey Bread

3 cans refrigerated biscuits (10 in a pack)
1 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
Grease and flour a bundt pan. Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces and roll into balls. Mix the white sugar and cinnamon together and place in a baggie. Place each biscuit ball into the baggie and shake to coat. Layer the biscuits in the pan. Melt the butter and brown sugar together, and pour it over the biscuits in the pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Pull apart to eat

Baked Chicken Breast Supreme
1 1/2 cups plain yogurt or sour cream
1/4 cup lemon juice
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp celery seed
1/2 tsp Hungarian sweet paprika
1 garlic clove, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
8 boneless, skinless, chicken breast halves
2 cups fine dry bread crumbs
In a large bowl, combine first 8 ingredients. Place chicken in mixture and turn to coat. Cover and marinate overnight in refrigerator. Remove chicken from marinade. Coat each piece with crumbs. Arrange on a shallow baking pan. Bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for 45 or until juices run clear.
Beer Bread
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
3 Tbs sugar
1 Tbs baking powder
1 1/2 tsp salt
12 ounces beer
1 egg, beaten
Adjust oven rack to lower-middle position, and pre-head to 375 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a large bowl. Add beer and stir with a fork until combined. Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead quickly to form a ball. Place bread on a baking sheet and confidently slit an X on the top with a serrated or very sharp knife. Brush loaf with egg wash. Bake until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Transfer to wire rack to cool.

Cranberry Orange Bread
2 cups flour
3/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp grated orange peel
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 beaten egg
3/4 cup orange juice
1 cup chopped cranberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Sift together flour, sugar, baking power, baking soda, and salt. Combine egg, grated orange peel, orange juice, and oil. Add to dry ingredients, stirring just until moistened. Fold in cranberries and walnuts. Bake in greased, 9x5x3 inch loaf pan at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Remove from pan, cool, wrap, and store overnight.
Blueberry Pineapple Bread
3 cups unsifted flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
2/3 cups shortening
1 1/3 cup sugar
4 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1 cup crushed pineapple (drained)
2 cups blueberries, rinsed and drained
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Cream shortening until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar. Stir in eggs, milk, lemon juice, and pineapple. Beat in dry ingredients. Fold in blueberries. Pour into 2 greased and floured bread pans. Bake for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack. Wrap tightly and refrigerate or freeze.
Pumpkin Bread
4 eggs
3 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
2 cups pumpkin
2/3 cups water
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp nutmeg
2 tsp baking soda
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Beat eggs and water together. Add sugar, salad oil, and pumpkin. Sift dry ingredients. Add to mixture and blend slowly. Put into greased and floured pans. Bake at 375 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Bread From Beer Grains
Provided by Larry Scheurich (2013 - via American Homebrewers Association)
3 cups spent grain (wet, straight from the mash tun for best results)
1 1/4 cups warm water
1/4 cups sugar
4-5 cups of all purpose flour
1 tsp salt
1 egg beaten
1/4 cup milk
1 packet dry active bakers yeast
Mix yeast, water, and sugar in a bowl and let sit for 30 minutes to activate
Mix yeast starter, salt, egg, spent grain, and milk in a bowl, and slowly add flour
Knead dough until it is smooth and no longer sticky
Place dough in a large, greased bowl and cover with a towel. Allow to raise until double in size.
Split dough into loaves and allow to raise. Score with a knife
Bake at 375 degrees for 35 minutes
